With summer around the corner, there couldn’t have been a perfect time for the launch of Cath Kidston ‘s Bloom Lovely collection at its flagship store in Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. The ‘Home of Modern Vintage’ is known for its signature floral designs, and the SS'16 prints and products are a joyful celebration of British blooms in all their glory.
When we received an invite about a week prior to the actual opening, we were curious to know more about the brand. Naturally, Google being everyone's best friend gave us the run down on this unique store. I won't lie, I was a little overwhelmed with choice as I entered the store as with the buzzing and energetic crowd, came gush of outgoing striking designs and prints. One thing that did catch my attention after a long day at work was the glorious aroma of roasting coffee... I could smell Tim Hortons in the air and right enough, by the corner stood the Tim Hortons dispenser. If only they retailed the dispensers by the box :( Sweet and savory canapes floated through the bustling store and what better way to end the munchies off than with a timbit on a stick?
Okay so now a little bit about the brand… Cath Kidston is thoroughly inspired by the floral beauty in London, encompassing classic roses to hero hydrangeas and daisies in the collection. Ranging from home wear to crockery and dresses to onesies, this diversified brand indulges in the best of both worlds. Upon entering the store, every piece seems unique in its own way, because of its vibrant colors, fresh shades of blue, yellow and coral, floral details and structure.
I for one love pretty stationary and the team at Club Apparel gifted us this cute little rosy notebook and button dot pen. It just makes your office space or your home desk more inspiring and motivating.
