Summer on Hold

Shortlist Dubai just confirmed that Dubai is seeing the coldest April in 19 years! The return of the cold spell in April is positively unheard of for us Dubai-ites. But wardrobe-wise I am not complaining!

It is true my winter wardrobe is only equipped with enough to get me through two months of cool winds and chilly temperatures. I already switched my closet and neatly stored all my winter coats and knits. And while I was a bit confused about the weather (who else has switched off their Air-con?) that just gave me a reason to wear this Zara sweatshirt I picked up on sale, at a steal, and thought would have to save it for next winter!

I adore the shade and now looking for a matte lipstick in this exact color. Think this sweatshirt will be in rotation for the next couple of days and I am going to make an effort to style this in as many ways possible because I mean just look at the color!! I paired it with these boyfriend jeans I picked up last year when street shopping in Athens. Did I mention how comfortable they are?

Anyway looks like summer will have to wait a little longer, so go on outdoors as much as possible and enjoy the amazing weather while it lasts! That’s what I’ll be doing this weekend.
