Surprise is one element that ICONIC has taken pretty seriously and a pleasant one at that. Having previewed their collections over the last few years, they have definitely come a long way in terms of quality, the array of fabrics, cuts and silhouettes and might we add that their 2016 Summer collection could just be their best one yet.
Mellow tones, daring cuts and extravagant colors are few of words that could be used to describe the new collection. Located in the funky, fairly new, contemporary spot, Ynot, at the Intercontinental Dubai Marina, ICONIC decisively divided the venue to showcase the distinct pieces from its women's, men's and children's collection. The setting was very grunge and garage like... but it is these kinds of venues that pull off that edgy vibe with elegance - A perfect setting for an ‘Iconic’ collection.
The brand drew a lot of inspiration from the latest catch on the run way.. the starched and structured lace proved to be a highlight for the collection and what would seem to be not-the-most flattering outfit, could just be pulled off with their statement accessories. Chic and neatly tailored pant suits were an additional bonus, for me especially cause I've been scouting high and low for the perfect one! The classy and refined evening outfits arrived just in time for this year’s Eid celebrations with a choice of subdued shimmer, sequined minis, rich tones and glamour- all letting the range speak for itself.
The team put so much effort into the preview event ensuring that each guest had a thorough preview of the collection with delectable tidbits to tantalize your taste buds.
