I LOVE ending the week at my best, which includes my outfit du jour. Mixing fabric textures and throwing in a little luxe can be exactly what is needed on a Thursday evening.

Last week you saw me whip up a chic look with my Gap jeans and Zara coat, perfect for casual Thursdays at work. But what if your meeting your girls for some vino post work or you have an evening of champagne and strawberries with your work click? If you, like me live in the North and work in the South, of Dubai, it is pretty impossible to head home to change and reach back in time for happy hour. That’s when a simple switch of one item of clothing can transform your outfit instantly.

Like this grey fur vest from Zara. I love the luxe feel and it has probably been one of my best (late) winter purchases. I know for sure that I’ll end up wearing it a million times coming fall/winter. With a vest like this, you can even get away without wearing too many accessories. Just a simple statement clutch will do the trick. I picked this boxed clutch from Koton a few months ago. I am so over the regular purse styles that when I spotted this ‘medicine box’, as one friend called it, I was sure it would serve as the perfect conversation starter.
