'Tis The Season

We’ve been gradually entering the Dubai’s winter season for about 2 weeks now, well only according to the early morning and evening temperatures. I’ve always said that if Dubai had a crisp fall and winter season, it would hands down be the best place to live on this globe. This outfit is a major throwback to last year when Sue and I visited Chicago for a mini but memorable vacay.

We never expected it to be as cold as it was in Chicago, especially because fall was setting in and every time we visit the US, a trip to Marshalls is compulsory. That’s where I managed to grab this sandy colored coat with a chocolate hoodie…YUM!! I paired it with an ox colored pair of jeans from Garage and a basic tee from H&M. To keep myself extra warm and snug, I wrapped a simple black shawl which I had picked up three winters ago from a boutique in Jumeirah. As for my high tops, they’re from my favorite footwear brand, Call it Spring.

As Dubai-ians, we await the time we can bid farewell to the scorching summer so that Starbucks whips out those toffee nut lattes and people start humming Christmas Carols in IKEA. Speaking of, I think I’m ready to put up the Christmas tree! 'Tis the season indeed :)
