I pretty much lost count of the number of pairs I own. To the point I was actually browsing the web over the weekend for compact shoe closet designs because I feel like I have forgotten what I own and need to visually see all to decide what to pair with my outfit. And before you think the above closet is mine, let me clarify this is what I see myself having in the next 2 years :P I am slightly obsessed with shoes and most of my purchases were picked up without any intention of buying. So yeah you can blame it on the shoe!

Elongating your figure (especially if you’re a petite minion like me), adding the finishing touch to an outfit, boosting my confidence to the next level and just making me feel down right sexy, it’s for these reasons I cannot get enough of shoes! With so many styles to choose from, it’s tempting to just pile up like a Kardashian but lately I’ve come to the conclusion that any closet needs just the essential heels in classic colors and a few statement pairs to complete your capsule wardrobe.

Bur Juman will be celebrating the “humble shoe” and its beginnings, next month with a bang, offering fashionistas and shoppers alike the opportunity to be part of its Shoe Crush events. Watch out for The Shoe Show Exhibition being organized in partnership with the Virtual Shoe Museum from Holland. This retrospective, will feature an exclusive collection of rare footwear creations by internationally renowned designers, architects and artists, ranging from futuristic boots to jewel encrusted shoes. Marvel at the spectacle of six pairs of freestanding giant shoes, which all stand over 1.5 metres high. If all this finds you looking at adding another pair to your collection, then you can participate in the weekend raffles whereby when you spend AED 300 or more, you stand the chance to enter a prize draw to win AED 40,000 weekly.
