Looking at all the latest A/W 2015 collections and Fall makeup launches almost makes me miss a beautiful season like this in Dubai. Our transition from summer to winter is probably a feeble shower with the sun setting by 5 PM and temperatures dropping to about 25 – 30 degrees celsius, but hey I am grateful we do get to enjoy at least a pleasant winter.

Last fall, I visited Chicago and fell in love. Layering, long overcoats and the cool, crisp weather are a few of the things I miss. Not to mention the beautiful palette of colors that the season brings alive. Maroon, camel, browns, burnt orange, bottle green are some of my favorite hues and I was so happy when I found this plum pair of semi-casual skinny’s in Forever 21 last year.

I find it very hard to shop for pants because of my well-endowed hips and skinny legs. When I tried them on, they fit so well that I bought them in all the colors that were available, bottle green and smokey grey! Do you do that too?

Oh well, all this has got me wanting to zip away for another fall vacation….hope something works out during the next Eid break in September *fingers crossed*
