As I picked this outfit and did a flat layout of it on my bed, I thought to myself: We’ve been blogging for over a year now and there hasn’t been a color blocking outfit post...until I donned this outfit.
I love steering towards the neutrals and pastel colors because that’s what I’m most comfortable in. The day I wore this was an important birthday, Sue’s birthday, so naturally I had to step out of my comfort one at some point, yes? I popped on this midi dress from New Look and a simple neon yellow-green sleeveless button down top from Forever 21 and voila. Mind you, this was the time I was living out of my suitcase so putting together an outfit like this was a miracle since I had to reuse and recycle my clothes for an entire month!

I was on a bit of a doozie with these colors but when Sue gave me the green light, I suddenly felt proud of my choice *Salute*. Because the dress is so casual and monocolored, you can wear it from night to day with ease. I’ve worn this with a sleek black blazer and a classic pair of black heels. Not only will this give you an envious curve in all the right places but with a pair of spanx, this dress can actually suit most body types- just layer on cleverly.
Here’s to loads more colorful posts from me Aye!
