Do you smell it? The long weekend that is approaching; is just what the doctor ordered for the tough days I have been having at work. I thought with shorter working hours during Ramadan, work would be a breeze but it turned out to be the busier than usual. I was thinking about jet-setting off to Turkey but the prices are unreal and there is no way to I was going to succumb to the whole EID pressure. So we’ve planned a mini escape to Ras Al Khaimah and are super stoked for the much needed getaway from the city. Make sure you follow us on Instagram @browseandbrushes for crazy pictures of us frolicking in the sun, sea, and sand and drooling over some ice- cream and possibly some hotties ;)

On another note, I never thought I’d ever be wearing pastel pink denims in public. Not for the sake of my inevitable staining of the said pants (which by the way are already stained) but also because I never thought my butt could squeeze into any lightly coloured denims so perfectly. To my delight, Pull & Bear had ones that were so cool, comfortable, and wearable and as the icing on the cake, I found them on sale! Love a surprise bargain.

What are your plans for Eid? Here are five ideas for the lazy, the hungry and the adventurous.

PS: Confession: I bought the same pair of pants in lemon and pistachio. Clearly my confidence level hit the roof in the trial room. Also what if I never ever find pastel skinnies that fit like a dream?
