A Splash of Colour in this Black & White World

As much as I would love to plan and coordinate my outfits every time I go out, there are days I just want to slip into something and not have to worry if it all looks okay. Who’s with me here?

This shift dress from Suite Blanco was the solution to my dilemma of what to wear one lazy Friday afternoon to lunch at a friend’s place. It is probably the most colorful piece I own and takes the whole color blocking trend to another level. It is also one of those dresses in my wardrobe that really requires no effort on my part to look like I haven’t just walked out of bed.

There’s something mesmerizing about this print and I am thankful that I found this on one of my random shopping escapades as it complements my skin tone (or so I have been told). The bold color combinations are fun and I have to admit it took a bit of courage to wear it initially as there is something intimidating about wearing all these colors together.

So while we groove into the weekend, here’s one of my favorite tracks that I cannot get enough of.
