Moreschi SS'2015

Moreschi is an Italian footwear and clothing brand which started up in 1946. Known for its impeccable quality and fine craftsmanship, we were in for a world of a surprise after visiting their store in Dubai Mall for its reopening. Although they didn’t showcase their entire collection in women’s wear, a peak at a few of the pairs is enough to want you to dish out AED 4000 on a chic pair of shoes. Moreschi pays close attention to detail and uses the highest quality of leather in the production of their shoes and bags. Owning a product from this luxury brand is truly an experience with a passion and appreciation for quality.

Upon arriving at the newly renovated store which is located on the ground floor of Dubai Mall (a neighbor to Paul Café) the first thing that will catch your eye is the craftsman in the process of constructing a shoe from scratch!! Given that it was the first time we actually saw someone create a shoe from scratch, we can’t be blamed for watching in awe for about 5 minutes and the gentleman didn’t hesitate to pose for a few hundred photos of him in the act either ;) It seemed like a lot of work! The lovely PR executive, Corrina Campos introduced us to Mr. Moreschi himself to have a brief chat about his brand and inspiration for his products.

Having been initially considered a men’s brand, Moreschi has opened up a whole new segment which now caters to women. Our opinion of a Moreschi woman is a lady who is elegant, dynamic, someone with good taste and loves to play around with her colors. You can picture her as a femme who loves a fine wine, sipping her fresh cocktails at the beach club enjoying the summer breeze with her girlfriends before getting onto her private yacht. Descriptive enough?
