After seasons of bold nail art, comes the return of barely there nail polish colors, from the palest pink to chic nudes. Sophisticated colors and subdued nail art are this year’s stars for your Spring 2015 mani so if you’re a fan of maroons, deep reds and midnight blues, you might want to lighten your nails a tad bit. What better place to get your inspiration for your spring manicure than right here on Browse and brushes.

Our nail expert Joann, shared one of her favorite spring looks with us and our followers! A simple pink nail with a white criss-cross design which is super trendy and won’t require you to dish out the big bucks at a fancy nail salon.
Follow these few simple steps to achieve Joann’s nail design:
1. A base coat is always a must for your polish to stay on for as long as possible. Follow the step with a white polish.
2. After letting the white polish dry, place the nail foil strips to form your desired pattern.
3. Paint the pink polish over top of the foil strips, which are almost used as a stencil, and
cover your entire nail.
4. Remove the strips immediately to prevent it from drying on your nail
5. Lastly, follow with a top coat to seal in your polish

Now onto the trends seen on the runway.....
THE HALF-MOON
Paint a half moon near to the bed of your nail with your favorite polish, any dark or bright color is sure to work. This might seem a bit tricky or messy at first, but don’t we all love a challenge?

GRAPHIC NAILS
