Product Review: Human + Kind - Hand + Elbow + Foot Cream

We received this product from Tish Tash at the Bloggers lunch last week and it was easily one of the cutest goodies in the gift bag. Truth be told, we were quite surprised that we didn’t hear about this brand. But then again with tons of hand and body creams flooding the market, it takes someone to introduce or recommend a product….And trust Tish Tash to always introduce us to the good stuff!

What is it?

An intensive, light, moisturizing, non-greasy and fast-absorbing hand cream that repairs and protects skin while doubling as a foot and elbow cream, softening even the driest patches.

Experience

Starting with the packaging, we love the matte finish and the pink design which seriously makes the perfect desktop accessory at work. The 50 ml version is also the perfect size to pop in your hand bag for use on the go.

With the chilly weather looming outside and the Air con indoors creates quite a havoc on our already dry skin especially our hands and joint areas - ankles, knees and elbows. I started using this product before going to work in the morning to hydrate dry patches and then in afternoon and finally at night before going to bed. The results have been nothing short of amazing! The skin on my hands and especially my parched elbows feels soft and smooth and I don’t have to worry about visible dry patches. It is said to even be good for anyone, suffering from eczema and psoriasis however I suggest reading up on medical reviews and consulting your dermatologist.

The consistency is almost gel like, smooth and light and instantly absorbs into your skin without feeling sticky or staining your clothes. But I did notice one thing that if you go a day or 2 without using it your skin goes back to feeling dry so I guess that’s one drawback. As mentioned in one of our previous posts, out feet are the toughest areas and although Human+ Kind cream works well to soften it, the effect isn’t long lasting especially if you are wearing open shoes. Vaseline in that case works well as a night repair emollient for our over-worked feet. Nonetheless this cream is perfect for the hands, elbows and knees.

The smell is also quite luxurious and natural and has this soothing spa effect which is sort of calming.

Conclusion

A great multi-purpose cream that is perfect for on the move. It works amazingly well for the hands, elbows and knees but for the feet only to some extent. Would we repurchase it again? Yes because the smell and the feeling after usage is quite addictive and for an all-natural hand cream that doubles up as a elbow + foot cream, the price is a steal.
