With that charming dose of The Little Red Riding Hood sensibility and a dash of that super hero flair you can’t help but love the CAPE and it’s undoubtedly made an entry into many wardrobes this season.
A favorite among us fashionistas, this is one chic piece that can transform the simplest of outfits into something uber cool. The traditional cape is now available in different styles from sporty, to tailored and sleek, to cropped, some feature slits so you can use your arms, making it a fun piece to wear.

How to wear it
The formal ones remain swaggeringly sophisticated but the shorter versions can easily be tossed on as a scarf. Of course it looks the best with skinny pants and boots but ensure you go with neutral colors to maximize versatility. A cape is grand enough gesture so keep your accessories to a minimum and the bag that goes along with it is a tote.

A cape or poncho is the perfect way to give a lazy-day outfit an elegant twist. Pull on a pair of dark skinny jeans with a tucked-in fitted top for proportion and then swish on a luxe-textured cape to make a statement. Posh knee-high boots and a breezy cool hat finish off this casual yet chic look.
Stacey is seen wearing a cape blazer from Forever 21. We paired this with an inner top from La Senza and maroon skinnies from Garage and finished the look with ankle stillettos from Juicy Couture.
Chic, sharp and effortlessly cool, this is definitely one trend you can do without feeling like a Disney villain or superhero.

We absolutely adore the black woolen cape that is available in Zara stores at the moment but Dubai winters are more pleasant than freezing to don something that is really thick and wooly.
