We are creatures of comfort and after living in the desert pit for so long, we always tend to rejoice when a feeble winter approaches so that we can bring out our comfort clothing - hoodies, knits, sweaters and boots.
Luckily for us the fashion stars seem to be aligning in 2014 - The results are – super cozy. Finally our snuggie-loving self and fashion-loving self can live in sweet accord.

One of the biggest trends spotted on the Fall 2014 runways were over sized knits and sweaters and they ruled the show in all shapes and forms. Clearly, large sweaters have transformed from being seen as sloppy and scruffy to classy and tasteful. The fashion world has moved on from skin tight clothing equaling sexy and chic. Now, a less form-fitting look can be just as sexy and even more chic.
Leggings continue to be trendy this fall-winter season, and many major fashion houses and mainstream commercial brands continue to offer leggings in their collections. They are comfortable to wear, are versatile and can keep your legs warm after all! Leggings look great, when the whole outfit is properly pulled off. Always make sure though, that your tops are long enough to cover your buttocks.

So much of this year’s women’s fashion was inspired by menswear, and it’s no different in the shoe department. Thankfully for us comfort junkies, men’s shoes are 'flat' and not balanced on towering stilts geared to disfigure your toes. This season it’s all about comfy loafers, brogues, oxfords and sneakers.

Shoes - Call it Spring
Whether you're heading off to school, the office or just around town this season, it's easy and affordable to make a few fashionable updates to your autumn attire. Wear oversized clothes … everywhere. Play around with the colors and styles to create your own looks. And don’t assume all your fall/winter wear should come from GAP or Banana Republic. Rummage through the racks at your local thrift store or through the clearance racks in stores at the malls to see what you can find. You’re bound to uncover a few oversized steals that won’t break the bank.
