Loyalty has its ‘Benefit’!

From the first time I walked into Sephora in Deira City Centre I found myself going back to their stores for any of my beauty needs. I was extremely happy with the service that was offered by the beauty advisor. She was knowledgeable about the products, didn’t try and sell me items I didn’t need (which can be quite annoying!) and even left me with some samples to try. When I need a refill of any product I glady pop by any Sephora store be it Dubai Mall or MOE and get the same great customer service!

Over 6 months ago I signed up for the Sephora loyalty card program. Every time I shopped at the store, the cashier never failed to ask if I had a Sephora card - I always managed to collect points! After all the purchases I upgraded from a Sephora White Card to a Sephora Black Card which came in the mail with added benefits. Sephora White provides you with exclusive news and special offers throughout the year. With the Sephora Black Card you are entitled to more point bonuses, a free prestigious gift from the store, VIP Access to private sales, and a birthday gift too - (You can never get enough birthday gifts!)

In need of a moisturiser I went to Sephora and remembered to claim my gift. Expecting something basic such as a makeup pouch, which most beauty stores give you, I was pleasantly surprised with the Benefit Beauty Bag I received. It contained 6 mini items which were a perfect travel size for me to pop into my bag, along with a Brow Wax Voucher. The beauty advisor also managed to convince me to take a survey which entered you into a monthly draw to win AED1000 to spend on beauty products. At the end of it I walked out a happy customer with many new products to try!

We never realise what kind of influence a loyalty card has on its customers, but Sephora surely created a lasting impression on me. It didn’t take me long to let my friends know about the ‘Benefit’ I received! Will definitely be heading back for my next make up haul!
